Spanish football legend, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez Moreno, has signed a contract to play for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League (CSL). The deal is reportedly worth $5 million and will see the forward join the club on a two-year contract.

The 34-year-old Moreno is known for his goalscoring ability and his time at FC Barcelona was one of the highlights of his career. He scored 112 goals in 187 appearances for the Catalan giants, making him the third-highest scorer in their history behind Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Moreno's move to China marks a new chapter in his career, as he looks to continue his goal-scoring form in a different league. He will be joined by fellow Spanish player, David Villa,Premier League Focus who also recently signed for Shanghai Shenhua.

Shanghai Shenhua is currently second in the CSL table and has been a strong performer this season, winning four out of their five games so far. With Moreno and Villa joining the team, they are expected to provide much-needed firepower up front.

For Moreno, this move represents a chance to rediscover his best form after a few years away from professional football. He will be hoping to score regularly and help the club achieve success in the CSL.

Overall, it is an exciting development for both Moreno and Shanghai Shenhua. It remains to be seen how well the duo will perform together, but it seems like there is a lot of potential for success.
